One of the best loved British bands of the late 80s and early 90s recently announced that they are reforming to play Download Festival 2012…. Rockshow presenter Andy Fox is joined by Little Angels frontman Toby Jepson and gets all the details!

Philip Lynott remembered

The Rockshow begins a new year and new era by paying tribute to a legend of the past. Philip Lynott, leader of the mighty Thin Lizzy, passed away on 4th January 1986 at the age of just 36 and is remembered here in a show which features comments from the man himself, many of his associates as well as his mother, Philomena.

…we start by wishing you a Happy New Year and bringing you the news that the ROCKSHOW will now be broadcasting simultaneously on GTFM 107.9fm and now also on Bristol community radio station BCfm on 93.2fm from 9pm every Thursday.

Our show features a special tribute to Philip Parris Lynott who passed away on 4th January 1986. We have an hour documentary with various colleagues, band members and even Phil’s mother commenting about his life and career followed by a live Thin Lizzy in concert show from their farewell tour in 1983 from Hitchin.
